Polo

Polo originated in Iran and was introduced to Britain and Ireland by the British Army after it was discovered there.

Polocosse

Polocrosse is a version of Lacrosse played on Horseback. It was invented in Northern Australia in the 1970s and the first World Cup was played in 2003.

Horse Racing

Horse Racing Disciplines include Flat, Jump, and Point-to-Point, and also Harness Racing.

Point to Point

Equestrian

Endurance Riding has been part of the Federation Equestre Internationales events since the 1980s. It involves riders and horses covering varying terrain over distances of up to 160km. The key to endurance Riding is the welfare of the horse, and to this end there are regular vet checks before, during and after rides.
