In the Equestrian Sport Mitsubishi Motors Trophy, held at Badminton in England, C Hanley representing Ireland, and riding Laveletto in the Prix Citroen Maubeuge and Ombline de l’etang in the Prix Societe finished just outside the medals with fourth place in both prix. Also representing Ireland, D Lennon riding Naomi finished 9th in the Prix Societe.

About

Endurance Riding is one of the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) sports, and involves riders and horses to cover varying terrain of up to 160km. The key to Endurance Riding is the welfare of the horse, and to this end regular vet checks take place before, during and after rides.
